In this 1–2 hour course, students will gain a solid understanding of how to operate their camera with confidence. We’ll cover the essential settings—aperture, shutter speed, and ISO—and how they work together to create the perfect exposure. Students will also receive guidance on choosing the right camera for their needs, whether they’re looking to buy their first camera, upgrade their gear, or explore accessories to enhance their photography. By the end of this session, participants will not only understand the technical side of their camera but also know how to make informed gear investments as a beginner. Course can be given at an outdoor location or at our studio in Edinburg, Texas.
Light Course-$100
This 2-hour course focuses on understanding and controlling light in both outdoor and indoor settings. The first hour will be dedicated to working outdoors, learning how to use natural sunlight effectively and how to integrate outdoor flash for a balanced look. The second hour moves indoors, where students will practice using flash for events, LED lights, and on-camera flash systems. We’ll explore different types of umbrellas, softboxes, and other flash modifiers to achieve various lighting effects. By the end, students will have the skills to adapt to any lighting situation with confidence and creativity.
PHotographing Kids Course-$300
In this 1–2 hour course, students will learn the art of photographing children in a way that is both engaging and safe. We’ll cover everything from setting up a kid-friendly photoshoot space to creating poses that capture their personality and energy. This class includes a live child photoshoot, giving participants the opportunity to apply their skills in a real session while receiving hands-on guidance. Special attention will be given to safety precautions to ensure children remain comfortable and secure during the shoot. By combining technical skills with practical tips for working with young subjects, students will leave ready to create joyful, natural portraits that parents will treasure.
PHotographing NEwborns Course-$500
This hands-on 4 hour course offers an in-depth look at the delicate art of newborn photography. Students will learn professional wrapping techniques, how to pose newborns safely, and tips for gently putting them to sleep for picture-perfect moments. The course will feature a live newborn model, allowing participants to practice and refine their skills under direct guidance. Safety will be emphasized at every stage to ensure the comfort and well-being of the baby, while also capturing beautiful, timeless images.
PHoto Editing FUll Course-$500
In this course, students will discover how to transform their photos into polished, professional-quality images. We’ll cover essential editing techniques, including skin retouching, color correction, and adding creative special effects. Participants will learn how to use popular editing tools such as Photoshop, AI-based applications, and other professional-grade software to enhance image quality and fix imperfections. By the end, students will have the knowledge and confidence to produce consistent, high-quality images that stand out.
